1. Overview
MedDesk ("we", "our", or "the app") is a medicine requirements management app built for chemists and medical store owners. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
2. Data We Collect
- Account information: Your email address and encrypted password, used to create and manage your account.
- Business data: Company name, owner name, and phone number you provide during setup.
- App data: Medicine names, dealer contacts, and daily requirements you enter in the app.
- Device data: Basic device information for push notifications and Face ID functionality (biometric data is processed entirely on your device and never sent to our servers).
3. How We Use Your Data
- To provide and operate the MedDesk service.
- To send daily reminder notifications (only if you enable them).
- To allow you to share requirement summaries via WhatsApp.
- To restore your data when you log in on a new device.
4. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database provider with row-level security. Each account's data is fully isolated — no other user can access your business data. All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections.
5. Biometric Data
If you enable Face ID, biometric authentication is handled entirely by your device's operating system (iOS). MedDesk never receives, stores, or transmits any biometric data.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties, except:
- Supabase: Our database provider, used solely to store and retrieve your app data.
- Apple: Push notification delivery through Apple's APNs service.
- WhatsApp: Only when you explicitly tap "Send via WhatsApp" — the app opens WhatsApp with your message pre-filled. We do not have access to your WhatsApp account.
7. Data Retention
Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us.

9. Children's Privacy
MedDesk is intended for business use by adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
